How do I add Geofencing products to Proposals?

If you ever get stuck in our Proposals tool after adding Geofencing to your proposal, follow these tips below to see if this resolves the issue!

Walkthrough

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to https://ui.marketing/campaign-hub/new-proposal/advertiser to create a new proposal.

  2. Click the "Advertiser" field.

  3. Search for your advertiser or create a new one.

  4. Make sure the industry and website look accruate. You can update them if need be. Next add your run dates.
  5. Select your goal(s) for this campaign. Since we are building a proposal for DID, we will select Foot Traffic and then click "Next".

  6. Let's add our back geo for our Device ID campaign. This should be where your ads are served so long as they are served to the device ID that you are targeting. Ideally, your back geo should be farily large.
    1. For example, if I am targeting all device IDS that went to my competitor locations within a 5-mile radius, I don't really care where that device is when they see the ad, so long as they see the ad. So I may select DMA, state, or larger as my geo here.
    2. Learn more about back geos here >>
  7. Once you have added your back geo, click "Next".
  8. On the targeting page, we can leave it blank for now as we are going to be using the geoframes/device IDs as our targeting. Click "Next".
  9. Click the "Product Class" field.

  10. Click "Geofencing".

  11. Click the "Product" field.

  12. Click "Device ID Targeting US" to run a DID campaign targeting specific geoframes.

  13. Enter in your budget and then click "Next".

  14. Easily update your budget and impressions on the Allocations tab within the Line Items step. You can also adjust impressions/budget by month.

  15. Click "TARGETING".

  16. In the "Describe The Audience" field, describe what you are trying to target with device ID.

  17. If you have specific geoframes, please click "Download Target Location File" and follow the template with the core columns being:
    1. Location Name
    2. Start Date (lookback start date)
    3. End Date (lookback end date)
    4. Street Address
    5. City
    6. State
    7. Zip
  18. Click "Upload Target Locations (.CSV)" once you have filled out the template and select it from the modal that appears. Then click "Next".

  19. You can now either export this proposal to pitch to an advertiser or...

  20. Or if you are ready, you can click "Submit Proposal as Order" to send to our Operations team.

    1. You will need to fill out all remaining information prior to sending to our team. Pro Tip: The more information you send us at this stage the faster your campaign will go live.
    2. Within the "Targeting" tab, you will see that your geofencing template carried over and will be sent to our team.

    3. Click the "Acknowledgements" checkbox once you have gone through all the tabs.

    4. Click "Submit as Order" and then it will be sent to our team!
