Create a Proposal or Media Plan in Ui.Marketing with AI Media Planner

Learn how to create a proposal or Media Plan in Ui.Marketing utilizing our AI Media Planner or manually creating one yourself.

Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to https://ui.marketing/campaign-hub/new-proposal/advertiser to start a new proposal. 

  2. Search for your advertiser or create a new one. Ensure the industry and website are up to date as this is helpful for AI Media Planner to pull in insights and recommendations.
    1. Once you have a website added, on the right-hand side, you will the Advertiser Insights appear under AI Media Planner. 
  3. Select your run dates and goal(s) and click Next.
  4. Based on the advertiser's location, the AI Media Planner will auto-select locations. This can be adjusted as you see fit at any point.

    1. Insights about the location will display on the right-hand side, including total population, median age, median household income, and total households.
    2. If no geographical targeting is auto-selected or you would like to change it, you can adjust the locations on the map, and the AI Media Planner location insights will generate.

  5. Click Next once you have chosen your location targeting.

  6. Audience targeting allows a user to choose the “ideal customer” that this proposal should target. Age range, gender, household income, and some interests will populate automatically based on what the tool understands about the advertiser.

    1. As information is added or updated on the left, you will see three customer profiles update on the right. These profiles are used to help you better understand who you should target.

  7. Click Next once you are happy with your targeting and customer profiles.

  8. Now it's time to work some real magic! You can manually enter in your own product selections for this proposal or let AI Media Planner do the hard work for you! Click Recommend Products.
    1. Choose your budget goal: Monthly or Total. Enter in the retail budget for your proposal.
    2. 🤔 Give the tool some time to think about what will be best for your advertiser. Once ready, product recommendations will display. Any product with purple ✨ or text in purple is related to the AI. We provide context behind each recommendation and a summary of the recommendation on the right-hand side. Easily add, adjust, or remove products as you see fit or go with AI Media Planner's recommendation.
  9. To manually add products, users can choose products from the dropdown.

    1. The budget will automatically populate based on the minimums associated with the product, the rate and the date range of the proposal. Once all your products have been selected, click Next.
  10. Once all your products have been selected, click Next.
  11. Navigate through each line item to update allocations, locations, or to leave any notes for the proposal.

  12. Click through each tab as needed.

  13. Easily add more products by clicking "+ Add Another".

  14. Once everything looks good, click Next.
  15. On the Review page, you can review your line items, customer profile, and location targeting. Easily edit, add, or remove line items as you see fit. 
  16. Click Export to export the proposal as a PowerPoint, PDF or CSV file. Learn more about Exports here

  17. Once ready, click Submit Proposal as Order to submit this to our team to begin the campaign. Learn more about submitting a proposal into an order here

    1. ⚠️ Only users with the permission to submit orders will be able to actually submit the order. All other users can input information that they have but will not be able to submit. Please reach out to your Customer Success team to get access to submit orders.
