Why Are My Impressions Showing Up in Tail Aggregate Reporting?
This article explains why you might see impressions categorized as "Tail Aggregate" in our reporting dashboard.
There’s no negative meaning behind Tail Aggregate Reporting. Because our DSP (Demand-Side Platform) bids across a very large number of sites, it isn’t practical to report impressions individually for every single site or push all that data directly to the dashboard.
To manage this, we group smaller sites together into a category called “Tail Aggregate.”
Typically, impressions labeled as Tail Aggregate come from sites that receive fewer than 200 bids per day. When impression goals are low or spread across many small sites, the majority of site-level reporting will fall into this Tail Aggregate group.
This grouping is purely for reporting efficiency and should not be interpreted as a downgrade or reclassification based on quality.
