What is the Process for Sensitive Ad Categories?

For any advertiser or targeting location considered sensitive, the following process must be followed before the campaign can go live:

  1. Submit for Review:
    Email our Support Team at support@ui.marketing with the campaign details for review and approval.

  2. Support Team Actions:
    Our team will contact the advertising platform to verify targeting and pixel permissions for the sensitive campaign.

  3. Required Information:
    Please include the following in your email:

    • Advertiser Landing Page: URL or a description of the landing page content if no URL is available.

    • Advertiser Creatives: Samples or descriptions of the ad creatives to be used.

    • Targeting Methods: List the tactics you want to use (e.g., behavioral, content, geo-fencing).

  4. Examples of Sensitive Categories:

    • Abortion clinics

    • Addiction, mental health, and abuse centers

    • Blood donation centers

    • Cannabis dispensaries

    • Casinos and gambling

    • Health clinics and hospitals

    • Immigration centers

    • Military bases

    • Police stations, government offices, embassies, prisons

    • Places involving people under 18 (schools, children’s hospitals, playgrounds)

    • Political and religious affiliations

    • Sexual orientation

    • Senior care facilities

    • Trade unions

    • Polling locations (during active polling)

    Note: This also applies if schools, children’s hospitals, or playgrounds are used as conversion zones in DID campaigns.

  5. Response Time:
    The Support Team will reply with approval or disapproval after receiving the platform’s feedback, usually within 3 business days.
