What is Stand-Alone Search Retargeting

This article discusses what Stand-Alone Search Retargeting is

Search Retargeting serves ads to users based on their browsing history and the content they consume.  Utilizing a list of 60+ keywords, you can target websites that contain those keywords as well as users who have been to websites that contain those keywords.

A list of custom keywords will be provided to the advertiser for approval before publishing the custom audience and going live.  We can utilize the keyword list from the SEM campaign, and we suggest having at least 60 keywords.

This is a popular tactic for advertisers who target more "niche" audiences that may not be widely represented by integrated third-party data providers.
