What is a Matchback Report?

A matchback report is available only with Email and Device ID Address Match campaigns.

A matchback report is a report that looks at the target audience for a DID or DID Address Match campaign and the client's CRM list (the client/partner sends us) and compares these two and matches any addresses found in both.

This report shows the client that from the audience were targeting - who then became a customer on their CRM list. This report matches addresses found in the target audience with addresses found in the client's CRM list, and the addresses produced in the matchback report were identified in both.

So in theory, we can show the client that a device from the target audience then became a customer due to our DID or DID Address Match campaign.

Before providing the CRM list, please make sure to scrub the data.

  • Remove any "address line 2" items like apartment numbers, suite numbers etc.

  • Check that all addresses are in the 50 United States (i.e. no Canada, no Puerto Rico)

  • Remove Apartment #'s and PO Box #'s

  • Remove any address that do not include a state, city, or zip code

  • Remove any duplicates
