Suppression File Limit
Excel supports a maximum of 1,048,576 rows per worksheet. If a suppression file exceeds this limit, only the first 1,048,576 rows will be applied.
If the downloaded suppression file reaches the 1,048,576-row limit, the Email team will confirm with the partner the total number of rows in their file and how many should be applied to the campaign. This ensures transparency and helps determine if further action is required.
If a file is close to one million rows, the Email team will include a disclaimer noting that Excel has a maximum limit of 1,048,576 rows per worksheet.
If the file reaches the 1,048,576-row limit, it is the partner's responsibility to split the suppression list into multiple files.
Each file should contain a maximum of one million rows to ensure all emails are properly suppressed.
