SEO Billing Rules

Our SEO campaigns have specific billing rules and contract commitments

AGREEMENT TERM

All SEO campaigns have a minimum agreement term of six months from the first month of activation. In the event that a partner cancels within the first six- months, the partner will pay a cancellation penalty equal to one month's service.

Automatic Renewals

After the initial term, services will auto-renew on a monthly basis and are subject to adjusted monthly rates. If the partner would like to pause, hold, or cancel service, a written notice must be provided in the corresponding ticket by the 15th of the month for the following month.

  • For example, if the partner would like to cancel for July 31, they must provide written notice in the corresponding ticket by July 15.

Billing Cutoff for Starting a Campaign

Billing cutoff is on the 15th of the month.

  • For example, if we receive all necessary materials and access on July 22, we will start billing for Aug. 1. The reason is we need enough time left in the month to complete the work.

Placing Campaigns On Hold

Holds can be placed for up to 30 days. The hold starts on the first of the following month.

  • For example, if a campaign on-hold request is received on July 22, the up to 30-day hold will begin on Sept. 1. This is because we need any status changes for the following month by the 15th of the month.

***In the event the contracted minimum term is not met for a contracted service, a fee equivalent to one month’s service, contract minimum fee, will be invoiced and due based upon billing terms. The transition of assets and content created under the Agreement related to such Digital Services will occur as described below upon payment of all fees, including any applicable contract minimum fees.

Upon termination of these Terms and Conditions of Services, content, assets, and account access transition will be determined based upon the Digital Services delivered and term completion status per the following:

  • Organic Services: All content and content linking created by Provider Parties and residing on the Client’s website are considered owned by the Client only upon payment in full for the Digital Services. All content and content linking created for the Client residing on non-Client websites will no longer be actively managed, and the content will expire based upon the policy, process, and procedure of each website.
  • Standard services such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, etc., utilized to manage organic deliveries will have administrative access transitioned to the Client upon termination and payment in full.
