Using Radius and Point and Select Tools in Ui.Marketing Proposals and Orders

Learn about how to use our radius and point and select tools when adding geo locations to your proposal or order.

Walkthrough

Radius Tool: Step-by-Step Guide

Radius targeting is only available in the US.

  1. When building a proposal or an order, on the details section with the map, click on the first filter at the top, Find by, and select Radius.
  2. In the next field, Postal code within radius, enter the size of your radius. This field should only contain numbers. TIP: You can create a radius as small as 1 or as large as 50. Anything over 50 miles will not work and result in missing locations. For these instances, please manually upload a list of zip codes.
  3. Select "Miles" or "Kilometers" under Unit
  4. Then search for the ZIP Code you want your radius to center around.
  5. The map will then automatically highlight all of the ZIP Codes within that radius and their boundaries. NOTE: If the ZIP Code's boundaries extend beyond the actual radius, our system will include the entire ZIP even if it is outside of the radius.
  6. Once you are happy with your radius, click Add Locations.
  7. You can see all of your selected geo targeting under the map in the Selected Locations field. Easily remove any geos you do not want or clear the entire select by clicking the Clear button.

Point and Select: Step-by-Step Guide

  1. When building a proposal or an order, on the details section with the map, click on the first filter at the top, Find by, and select Name (if it isn't selected by default).
  2. Select the Country/Territory you wish to target.
  3. Depending on which country/territory is selected, you will be able to Search by different options. Click the dropdown under Search by and select what you want to target. For example, City, State, County, etc.
  4. Then on the actual map, under the zoom in/out buttons on the right-hand side, click the pointer icon (👆) to enable Point and Select
  5. Now, hoever over the map and click on the specific areas you want to target. For example, if you chose "City" as your Search by criteria, you will then be able to click on the map and select various cities.
  6. As you start clicking areas on the map, you will see what you selected below the map in the Selected Locations field. You can easily remove any selected locations or start from scratch by clicking the Clear button.
