What is 'quarantine'?
Certain file types may be quarantined in our system
You may see that the attachment you sent says 'quarantine'. This is because it is a file type we typically do not see. We want to ensure it is a safe file and not malware.
When uploading certain files, you may see the following notification letting you know that it has been flagged by our security team and you submit a support ticket to understand why your file was quarantined.
Quarantined File Types
The following file types will automatically go into quarantine.
'.exe', '.dll', '.iso', '.sh', '.dmg', '.xml', '.mdb', '.py', '.jar', '.ps', '.ps1', '.php', '.jsp', '.war', '.tar', '.bat', '.msi', '.c', '.bin', '.pl', '.db', '.sql', '.js', '.scr', '.msp', '.apk', '.pdb', '.svg', '.msc', '.css', '.vm', '.vmx', '.vmdk', '.log', '.tmp', '.sys', '.ps2', '.reg', '.cab', '.mst', '.ini'
