What are review responses and how are they beneficial to your Local SEO campaign?

Review Responses are included in all Local SEO packages. Your campaign manager will start responding to reviews on the advertiser's behalf in Month 1 of the campaign. 

Why are review responses so important? 

  1. Improves Visibility and SEO: Google's algorithms favor businesses that engage with their customers. Regularly responding to reviews can help improve a business's visibility on search engines, potentially leading to higher search rankings and increased web traffic.
  2. Builds Customer Trust: Responding to reviews, both positive and negative, shows that a business values its customers' feedback and is committed to customer satisfaction. This can enhance trust and loyalty among current and potential customers.
  3. Encourages More Reviews: When customers see that a business actively responds to reviews, they may feel more compelled to leave their own feedback, knowing that it will be acknowledged. More reviews can improve the business's credibility and attract more customers.
  4. Opportunity to Address Concerns: Responding to negative reviews provides a chance to address any issues or misunderstandings. A thoughtful response can turn a dissatisfied customer into a satisfied one, and show others that the business is proactive about resolving problems.

How many review responses are included in each Local SEO package?

  • LocalOne - 5 Google review responses/mo
  • Local Standard - 10 Google review responses/mo
  • Local Pro - 15 Google review responses/mo

When do you start responding to reviews? 

We will start responding to reviews in Month 1 of the campaign. We will not respond to any reviews prior to campaign activation. 


If you receive any reviews in Month 0 of the campaign, we will retroactively respond if you didn’t receive the allotted number of reviews in Month 1. 


What are your turnaround times? 

To guarantee timely responses to negative reviews, we will provide three response templates for approval upon campaign activation. When the advertiser receives a negative review, we will respond using one of the templates. Negative  reviews will be responded to within two business days. Positive reviews will be responded to within the month. There is no approval process for positive reviews.

**Advertisers have the option to opt out of review responses and/or negative review responses. If you would like to do so, please inform your campaign manager and we will swap with another optimization.
