How to Purchase a Domain for Web Development: A Step-by-Step Guide

  2. Search for your desired domain – Type the name you want (like yourbusinessname.com) into the search bar to see what’s available.
  3. Add it to your cart – Once you find an available domain, click “Add to cart” or “Buy.”
  4. Create an account – If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to create an account with the domain provider.
  5. Purchase your domain – Follow the checkout process. You’ll typically pay for one year up front, and you can choose to set it to auto-renew each year.
