How do I customize the shareable link?

An overview of how to change what's visible in the shareable link

The shareable link is a great resource for sharing information with users who do not have access to the reports in Ui.Marketing. The shareable link is a better alternative to a PDF, as users who have the link can make date adjustments and navigate the entire reporting dashboard easily. It also updates as new data becomes available. 

The shareable link will not expose any extra information to the end-user than you intended and will not allow them to navigate outside of this report to other areas of Ui.Marketing. Users can choose which information they want to be shared with users by customizing the report link.

The options for what data you want to make visable in the shareable link differs at various levels within reporting. 

Sharing an Advertiser Summary Report

From the advertiser summary page, users can share a link and customize which products, widgets, and spend metrics they want to share. To include items in a report, the checkbox must be checked. Any unchecked boxes will not be included.

  1. Click the link button at the top right corner
  2. A modal will appear, with all charts selected by default. NOTE: Spend metrics are unchecked by default.
  3. Any box that is selected will show on the report, uncheck a box to hide that component from the report
  4. Once your adjustments are made, copy the link by either:
    1. Highlighting the text in the box, right-clicking on your mouse, and clicking "copy".
    2. Click the "copy link" button to automatically copy the link to your clipboard.

Please note that you will need to re-copy the link if any adjustments are made after the link was originally copied. For example, if you open the modal and do not make adjustments and copy the link all charts will show. If you then go and remove one of the charts, you will need to copy the link a second time to get the updated URL.

Once you get the link and share it with users, they will not be able to add on charts and graphs you did not give them permission to view. Users will still be able to adjust the date range on a report and download the report as a PDF.
