Google Business Profile (GBP) Post Guidelines
Google Business Profile posts vary by product (1–3 per month starting in Month 1), follow best practices for length, visuals, CTAs, and compliance, are created one month in advance, sent for approval in Ui.Marketing, and auto-approved if no changes are made within seven business days.
Google Business Profile (GBP) Posts by Product
- LocalOne - 1 post/month
- Local Standard - 2 posts/month
- LocalPro - 3 posts/month
When Do We Start Posting?
- GBP Posts begin in Month 1 of your campaign; we do not schedule posts before campaign launch or in Month 0.
Google Business Profile (GBP) Social Post Best Practices:
- Optimal Length & Structure: Keep text between 500-700 characters, placing the most critical information in the first 100 characters. Use bullet points or short paragraphs for readability.
- Strong CTAs: Include clear, direct actions like "Call Now," "Book," "Order Online," or "Learn More" to drive conversions.
- Visual Appeal: Use high-quality, original images or videos (up to 30 seconds) rather than stock photos.
- Content Variety: Alternate between promotional offers, company news, and educational content to keep followers engaged
- Avoid Forbidden Content: Do not include phone numbers or emails in the text, use all-caps, or use excessive emojis, as this can violate content policies.
Turnaround Times and Process
