How Do I Edit Allocations on a Proposal?

Learn how to update allocations within a Proposal.

Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to the Proposal you wish to update the allocations on.

  2. Click "Next" on the Product page.
  3. Navigate to the line item you want to update the allocations on.

  4. The budget you entered in when selecting products will display here. You can edit this overall budget at anytime.

    1. An error message will show with the following options:
      1. Clicking "UPDATE ALLOCATIONS" will update the allocations in the table to match the totals. Hover over the button to see the changes before you make them.

      2. Clicking "UPDATE TOTALS" will update the total section and keep the allocation table as is. Hover over the button to see the changes before you make them
  5. Click the "Custom Rate" field to override the rate. CAUTION: Only specific users with this permission will see this toggle.

  6. You are also able to update the table by each row. Just double-click into each field to update the dates, budget, impressions, clicks, etc.

  7. You can also add another allocation row by clicking "Add Allocation".


When viewing a proposal, users can adjust information associated with the proposal such as adjusting the budget, dates, rates, and targeting.

  • Users can adjust their totals or the individual allocations
  • If there is a mismatch between the totals or the allocations, errors show
  • Admin users, or users with permissions, will be able to update the retail rate
  • Users can update either the retail budget or their goal amount to make changes (imps, views, ad spend)
    • Clicks will populate for products that have click goals. However, it will not be editable and is calculated off of the estimated impressions

  • Totals will be allocated evenly across months, rather than based on days in a month
