Creative Order Details and Requirements
This article discusses what our creative team needs to create your client's creatives.
Please see the list of creatives we provide and what is necessary for us to start the creation process:
GIF Ads:
A GIF ad is an animated creative ad. This can feature different copy texts, photos, and/or CTAs. What we need:
- **Order URL: If applicable, please provide the order URL link in the creative line item so that we understand when the campaign plans on going live/ how soon the creatives need to be provided.
- Copy Text: We need the text the client wants us to display on the ad. Please specify which copy text you want on each GIF slide.
- IE: On slide 1, please add 'Get Tickets Today'
- Visuals: Please provide specific images the client wants us to add to the creative. If they don't have a preference, please provide previous creative examples or creative visions they want us to replicate.
- Call-to-Action: A Call-to-Action (or CTA) in a creative is a button the customer can click on in the ad to be taken to the desired landing page. Common call-to-actions are: "Get Tickets Today", "Call Us Today", "Learn More", etc. We need a CTA within the ad to encourage users to click through to get this information from the client's website.
- Creative Deadline: Please provide a deadline for when you need the creative back so we can prioritize accordingly.
Static Ads:
A static ad is a stationary ad that doesn't have any motion. It typically consists of catchy text, one to three photos, and a call to action (CTA). Avoiding making the ad too crowded ensures that it effectively grabs the customer's attention and prompts them to click on it.
What we need:
- **Order URL: If applicable, please provide the order URL link in the creative line item so that we understand when the campaign plans on going live/ how soon the creatives need to be provided.
- Copy Text: We need the text the client wants us to display on the ad. Please specify the desired copy text to be displayed on the ad.
- Visuals: Please provide specific images the client wants us to add to the creative. If they don't have a preference, please provide previous creative examples or creative visions they want us to replicate.
- Call-to-Action: A Call-to-Action (or CTA) in a creative is a button the customer can click on in the ad to be taken to the desired landing page. Social and Carousel Ads:
A social ad is an advertisement that runs on Facebook and Instagram. Its main purpose is to grab the customer's attention, so it uses minimal text, captivating photos, and no call-to-action (CTA). Most important information will be in the message field of the creative. It's important not to make the creative too cluttered to ensure that the customer is enticed to click on the ad.
What we need:
- **Order URL: If applicable, please provide the order URL link in the creative line item so that we understand when the campaign plans on going live/ how soon the creatives need to be provided.
- Copy Text: We need the text the client wants us to display on the ad. Please specify the desired copy text to be displayed on the ad.
- Visuals: Please provide specific images the client wants us to add to the creative. If they don't have a preference, please provide previous creative examples or creative visions they want us to replicate.
- Call-to-Action: N/A for social ads
- Creative Deadline: Please provide a deadline for when you need the creative back so we can prioritize accordingly.
Email Template Builds
Email creatives consist of copy text, photos, CTAs, and CTURLs. You can also incorporate videos and link social media accounts.
What we need:
- **Order URL: If applicable, please provide the order URL link in the creative line item so that we understand when the campaign plans on going live/ how soon the creatives need to be provided.
- Copy Text Document: We need to determine which copy text should be placed in the email creative to ensure it meets the client's requirements.
- Visuals: Please provide specific images the client wants us to add to the creative and where to place them. If they don't have a preference, please provide previous creative examples or creative visions they want us to replicate.
- Call-to-Action: For email campaigns, multiple calls to action can be included in the email design. We need a call to action within the advertisement to prompt users to click through to obtain this information from the client's website.
- Click Thru URLS: When providing the creative details, we also need the CTURL links to the landing page(s) so that we can embed them within the CTA buttons.
- ** Please know that if a UTM isn't provided with the CTURL you provide, our team will create on on your behalf
- Creative Deadline: Please provide a deadline for when you need the creative back so we can prioritize accordingly.
