Overview
Conversations Messaging Templates
Save time and maintain consistency in your communications by creating reusable message templates. Add dynamic components to automatically personalize each message, making your responses both efficient and personal.
Adding Personalization with Dynamic Components
Make your templates efficient and personal by using dynamic fields (variables):
- While creating or editing a template, click the Dynamic Component icon (often represented by a variable symbol like
{...}) in the message editor. - A list of available components will appear (e.g., Customer Name, Date, Team Member Name).
- Select the component you want to insert.
- Click Add. The component will be inserted as a placeholder in your message (e.g.,
[Customer Name]) and will automatically populate with the correct data when used. - Click Save to finalize your template.
Inserting a Template into a Conversation
When you are communicating with a customer, you can quickly insert any saved template:
- Open the desired conversation in the Conversations tab.
- In the message composer at the bottom of the chat window, click the "+" icon.
- Select "Insert Templated Message".
- Choose the template you want to use from the list.
- The message will appear in the composer, fully populated with the customer's data via the dynamic components, ready for you to send or make minor adjustments.
