AI Conversation Summaries

Learn about our AI Conversation Summaries and best practices to make reading through your line items more efficient. 

With AI Conversation Summaries, quickly catch upon a line item, gain actionable insights, or ask a question so you don't have to scroll through every single message. 


Walkthrough

  1. Navigate to a line item with at least one message. 
  2. Within the Messages area, click the ✨ Conversation Summary icon. AI will create a summary of all the messages sent and provide you with any action items. 
  3. You can also create a custom query and ask it anything related to the messages sent within that line item. Click on the down arrow to the right of the ✨ icon and select Add Custom Query
  4. In the modal, enter what you would like the AI to do then click Submit
  5. You will see the answer to your custom query at the bottom of the summary underneath the action items. 


Best Practices

Below are some great ways to use AI Conversation Summaries. We also list out what AI Conversation summaries are not able to do.

FAQs

Q: What is the summary is wrong or incomplete?

A: As with any AI tool, it’s smart, but it isn’t perfect. Always skim the thread when needed and use your judgment. You can also submit your feedback to help us improve, or if you believe there is a bug, report it.

Q: What can I ask in the custom query?

A: The custom query does best with information already supplied in a message. We do encourage your to ask it anything! We want to get a better understanding of the types of questions you can and cannot ask. 

Q: I am not seeing the "summarize conversation" button. 

A: In order to see the button within a message, there must be at least one message sent within a. line item. 

Q: Can the summary scan or analyze attachments?

A: No, it is not able to open or answer any questions about attachments; it will only scan the conversation text and does not account for any attachments.

Q: Can the summary find a specific message or timeline? 

A: No, the summaries are not able to locate a specific message or add a timeline from previous messages. 

Q: Can I ask it to summarize pacing or reporting? 

A: At this time, the conversation summary does not integrate with our reporting and, therefore, cannot pull any reporting or pacing metrics for you.
