When utilizing and navigating the Ui.Marketing platform, you will use the below hierarchy.
Ui.Marketing Hierarchy:
Partner > Division > Advertiser > Order(IO) > Line Item > Ad Group
- Partner: You are the partner! Partners sell their digital advertising and run their digital campaigns through Ui.Marketing.
- Example: Conde Nast
- Division: Divisions are a way for partners to group specific clients or advertisers to specific campaigns they are running. You may have multiple advertisers that fall under a specific division.
- Example: Conde Nast > House & Garden Magazine
- Advertiser: The client's advertiser that will be running the digital advertising campaign.
- Example: Conde Nast > House & Garden Magazine > Crate & Barrel
- Order (IO): An order is created within the proposal tool. The proposal tool is where a partner can create the proposal or IO for the client's digital advertising campaign.
- Example: Conde Nast > House & Garden Magazine > Crate & Barrel > Display Dominant campaign
- Line Item: The campaign is the actual ad campaign the client wants to run with their customized products and details.
- Example: A client would like to run a Display-Dominant campaign that is scheduled to run monthly for the rest of the year, targeting users who are interested in home and gardening, and are between the ages of 40-65.
- Ad Groups: Ad groups represent the different targeting strategies that are applied to a specific campaign.
- Example: For a Display- Dominant campaign, we have two different targeting strategies. The two strategies are represented by ad groups within one campaign. The two ad groups for a Dominant campaign are Behavorial/Demographic/Search/Site Retargeting and Content targeting.
